With the end of August, we can almost say goodbye to summer. This year that’s not such a bad thing with a sluggish summer not giving many possibilities to go out and corona still around us. Luckily, this did positively affect the Savings Rate, which is well above 50% this month.

Crypto.com Visa Ruby 6 Month Review: Interesting Or No Good?

Update: As of 1 June 2022, CRO cuts cashback rates and stake rewards on all cards. On top of that, there is a cashback limit of 25 and 50 USD for Ruby and Jade/Indigo respectively. This effectively reduces the appeal of the cards and the CRO ecosystem considerably. The below experiences are based on everything before this cut.

With over 12 months of use with my crypto.com Visa debit card, I figured I’d share my experience with everyone.
For myself, this card has been an excellent addition to my credit cards. I improve my portfolio without doing anything thanks to the cashback this crypto card provides.

Wow, July really became an expensive month. I honestly never would have thought that July would net me 0 euros! It’s one of those months where many things happen and causes a significant shift in income and expenses.

June Savings Rate

Having a newborn in the house really makes it hard to find the time to write. Luckily I do still find it -albeit less for now- and I’m happy I can share another solid month of savings with you.

A benefit to having a newborn, especially ours that has issues sleeping during the day, is that we limit our adventures outside for the moment. We still order delivery ones a month (sushi in June) and go out for drives more, but that’s about it. Add holiday pay to the mix and you get a Savings Rate that goes above 60%!

May Savings Rate

The May overview took way longer than expected thanks to the arrival of our little girl! When looking back at May, I originally thought this was going to be a difficult month in terms of Savings Rate due to the medical checks, but I forgot that the medical bills are a month behind so it’s actually June that gets the expensive ones. Additionally, the actual delivery is covered by my health insurance. So, how did May go in the end?
