*Looks at last portfolio report, sees Q4 2021* Oops, a lot has changed since then... The last time I published a proper portfolio update, we were still talking about Covid, I was still an employee, the renovation hadn't started, and my daughter was a few months old. That was late 2021. It is now June 2026.
A few days ago, I dropped a comment on r/ValueInvesting about Microsoft (MSFT) and Adobe (ADBE), and the corresponding collective AI panic that was melting stock analysts’ brains. It seemed like I struck a chord, so I’m unpacking it in more detail here. The underlying point goes beyond just those three stocks.
With no quarterly report to speak of during all of 2022, it’s a bit silly to split up the past year now, especially since it would be challenging to find the exact numbers of my crypto positions; instead, I’ll be giving you a long-awaited update on my personal portfolio for the entirety of 2022!
While I still reported the first half of 2021, ever since my daughter came into my life, I lacked time to create a Q3 report. This report will thus be for the last half of 2021, i.e., Q3 and Q4.
After 6 years and 1 month or 2243 days, I finally ended it. I ditched my actively managed portfolio at Beobank. While the performance was decent, it was nowhere near as good as my own portfolio nor even the performance of the popular All-world tracker VWCE.
